Just the way I like it: Cheap, easy, simple but works like a pro. You can read all the books you want but leave it up to rednecks to figure out how everybody can do it! No latin or biology, just redneck ingenuity. I love it man.

If you put a valve on the tank, you can slow down your water flow and it will soak slower and better – good job though, I love it. Enjoy your maters :)

Cool, I look forward to seeing it

@pwalpar Rainbarrels are an excellent idea, especially when drout and water restrictions hit. Too bad for me though, I’ve already reworked all my grading around the house and put the corrugated pipe on the ends of the downspouts underground. I’m sure I could engineer it tho lol ;)

pwalpar (uploader) Thanks for the comment. Use you imagination no telling what you can come up with. Have you thought about a rain barrel. lots of water runs off the house when it rains. Just an idea. I dont think chlorine is strong enough to hurt the plants,. You can eliminte a lot of chlorine just by squirting it under pressure. The bubbles you see is the chlorine releasing in gas form.

@pwalpar I was thinking about a valve too. I’m on a community well, and they put stuff in the water. Clorine/chloramine, something? So I was thinking you could fill it with the valve off, sense you just had it open and watered the plants.
This would alow the water to sit over night and let, in my case, the chlorine stuff go away.
    Thanks for the video!
I’m just (literally)getting started with my first gardening atempt. And had been thinking about something like this.

LOL< bet your bottom dollar that if there is an easier way to do something, I will figure it out. Thanks for watching. hell yea Im born and bred redneck LOL

You’re my kind of redneck engineer. A little bit of work adds up to a whole lot of lazy lol. Good job.

Love your video!!! Just goes to show that with a little brain power and time any one can build their own designed drip system to fit their needs.

  25. pwalpar says:

Thanks, yes it worked well and saved me a lot of time standing out there with the graden hose. The tomatoes did quite well and I canned a lot of the,. I like the valve idea
