Technically, what this guy said and does is true. Here in reality, this is an incredibly bad idea if you don’t really know what you are doing. With the new machines, you can’t just dump old freon into a different machine. Yes, this will work, but I don’t recommend doing it. And yes I do know what the fuck I’m talking about, I’m a licensed HVAC-R tech.

  9. jmiguel3889 says:

omg this guy is crazy he can even use the correct terms this shit is why we have to get license so monkeys like this guy don’t try to be technicians

  11. ottoZ24 says:

what a buffoon…..he may be dead right now laying next to the exploded tank.

  12. cisco3288 says:

Is that reclaimer UL listed, or EPA approved? Why are you dumping discharge gas in that tank. Dont you think it would be alot easier is you cut out one of those condensers out of those ACs and condensed that discharge gas to a liquid into the tank. Hopefully thats all one type of gas there or else that not going to be cheep to reclaim

  13. HVACJunkie says:

OMG… This guy is a nut! His terms are so wrong…This is why they require a license! This guy has a waste dump! Someone call the EPA on this NUT!

  14. eldoradoboy says:

a better way to do this machine is to put a condensor in the circuit.. that way you can cool the compressed refrigerant as it goes into the tank.. will keep the head pressure lower and recover faster….

  15. facemcnasty says:

vacuum pumps dont recover refrigerent, reclaimers do dumbshit. and freon is not forbidden to use, its illegal to vent it.

  16. bergenstation says:

    Freon is forbidden to use!!!

  17. FarCryProLOL says:

  21. Bangbugger says:

    Fine work Dave.
A 1 way valve between your bottle and compressor would be a handy addition.

  24. illusion360 says:

  25. Bombstradamus says:

Like i posted earlier. Wit is absolutely right about this being a questionable recovery technique at best. Dont bring Canada into it. American Hillbillies are just as bad. Im a canadian red seal refrigeration mechanic. Our laws are the same.
