@nikunter damn straight!
i just call it my BFH
(big fuckin hammer)
dave is ghetto as fuck
the other way is to use some nice thick walled tube with inside diameter the same as the diameter of the shaft. cut the drive shaft in two, slot either ends of the shaft into tube and you can make it as long (or shorter if you cut a chunk of the shaft away) as you want from the original length. weld the ends of the tube to the shaft and drill a few holes right through the tube and shaft and use bolts though to lock them together for extra strength. its a bodge, but it works a treat!
3:00 way easier this way
the video is called: we got a nissan 200sx to joyride on a muddy day
yeah-he did an axle splice on his white van. It thot that would be most appropriate here.

Thousanths (I know I can’t spell)of an inch are pretty small and that is what my feeler guages measure. Wouldn’t a thousanth be a metric devision of an inch then!?! Never used them though as I’m a carpenter. I use Inches all the time mind as they are easy to see(my eyes aint so good!) and on a building site it can be gloomy! They also devide into 2/3/4/6/8/16/32 and 64. Now, am I missing something here? I thing the humble inch is the most useful of all increments!
Dude, your evil laugh is awesome! xD
Why not? i learned to know my briggs better than my pockets, thanks to dave.
love your work David
i wouldnt let this guy work on my mower
What kind of engine that got dave?
Thanks for the ball joint boot conservation trick! I would have figured that out on my own in another 10 years or so
Personally I like cutting the axle and sliding a piece of pipe on it and welding it together, just have to make sure that you have a very tight fitting piece of pipe to keep straight and balanced as best as possible….. But you would not care
when did you get this car dave??
Wheres the video where you first got this car dave? did you not upload it yet? i dont even remember this car.
