    Yep, mucho convienance.

A slab is 4 6-packs shrink wrapped together. (24 cans)

    A block is 6 6-packs wrapped together (36 cans)

And since its Aus and NZ we’re talking about beer that has ,you know, a nice stong taste and a decent alcoholic content. (None of your Yanky sea-water pish)

If toyu ever want to expand your beer horizons try a brew called Tiger, Its brewed in Singapore and is 4.8% by volume. Its also really really tasty.

Does that haul better out to the car than a cardboard case like we have here in the States for 12/18/24 packs? I imagine it would…having had a few handles tear off in my hand in my time…in purely scientific field-tests that I’ve conducted of course!
    Cheers!

In Australia and New Zealand beer multipacks can come in “blocks” or “slabs”, multiple packs of six packs wrapped in celophane with a convinent carry handle.

    Happy days!

Hmm…interesting! And I agree! Ours are available individually, or in 6, 12, 18, or 24, and almost exclusively in 12 oz (US) bottles or cans, though 32 oz bottles are available in most of the cheap domestic stuff. Oddly enough even though they sell it in 6-packs, Guinness and Newcastle and some other imports CAN be actually bought here in a 4-pack…what on EARTH is the point in THAT?!

  10. bbsampso says:

They stopped selling 6 packs here long ago, we can get 8,15 or 24. 6 is just a primer ;)

  11. RedneckCasanova says:

    Just gotta stock up! ;-)
    Thanks for watching!

Awesome Gourds tune. If you dig this, check out the “Rebuild the Wall” album by Luther Wright & The Wrongs– it’s a masterpiece. Way better than Hayseed Dixie, though I like those guys. Cool vid, dude!

  24. RedneckCasanova says:

I hadn’t thought about it but you’re probably right about place names being consistent there, more so than in many places at any rate. I’d love to visit there sometime.
A beer sounds like a great idea right about now so I’ll just raise a virtual pint with ya! Cheers!

  25. OneLazyBastard says:
