A couple rednecks hand fishing – try catching a 40 pound catfish with your bare hands. Check this out. This is how they do it down South. The fishers present their hand in the mouth of the underwater catfish den and wait for the fish to latch on to their arm in a defensive position. They then continue to wrap their hand around the fish’s gill securing it and gaining control of the fish.

yes and no, they aren’t going under and grabbing them while they are swimming. these fish have made holes under rocks and there are usually two openings to the rocks. you block one with your foot or whatever, i usually have a partner if it’s a big rock and then you stick your hand in and usually they will bite you and you bring them up! it’s the biggest adrenaline rush in the world. once you do i once your hooked and it’s in your blood.
