What does the term Wasp mean and is it old time insult like Redneck once was for my people?

I mean did people invent this word as a way of insulting people of a certain culture like redneck was invented to insult poor white people who was born and who live in southeast America.

If Redneck is the accepted term for ignorant and obnoxious white person whats the accepted term for a minority?

The fact alone that the word Redneck isn’t censored means is socially acceptable not to mention its said pretty much in everyday language when making fun of ignorant white people.
So whats the accepted term for ignorant black person? or ignorant Latino? Asian? etc.

Where Does the Term Redneck Come From?

 
To us a redneck is someone who is from the South. They love being in the South and to them they are they only great people in the country. They do all that they can to show people their love of huntin’, fishin’, and of course their tractors!
