Coming from a professional welder I would say you are dangerous and will die a stupid death pulling shit like that. By the way I have personally blown up a 45 gallon drum in front of myself. At least you left the cap off.

We solder em at work with a torch, solder and flux. We use Co2 from a bottle and keep the Co2 on the whole time.
