What is the definition of the Word Redneck by todays Standerds is it the same as calling a whiteguy a Niggga?
The Dictionary meanings are
Offensive Slang
1. Used as a disparaging term for a member of the white rural laboring class, especially in the southern United States.
1.an uneducated white farm laborer, esp. from the South.
2.a bigot or reactionary, esp. from the rural working class.

and another thing, rednecks aren’t just confined to the south, they are everywhere. in my opinion, the worst redneck state is west virginia, thats not the south. if you’ve ever been there you’ll know what i’m talking about
First, some important politeness tips.
To begin with, calling someone a redneck when you, too are a redneck will get you a beer and some pork fritters.
Calling someone a redneck when you are not a redneck will get you shot or beaten up.
I don’t think the above definition gets the current idea of a redneck, however. It is not necessary to be bigoted or reactionary, for one thing. You find as many bigots here on Yahoo.
It does help to be mechanically inclined, and to know the basics of welding. You should enjoy eating pork. You should usually come from and have a fairly large family. Your children’s names may, or may not, have two parts, as in Billie Bob, Betty Sue, and Joe Junior. You should be fair, but not unwilling to fight, if someone treats you poorly.
